Newnes campground
No vehicle access! It's a long, roughly 10km walk to reach Newnes campground. The campground is walk-in only because Wolgan Road has collapsed and there's a landslip risk at Wolgan Gap. Wolgan Road was the only vehicle access into the valley and is managed by Lithgow Council.

Used to camp here all the time with my dad. Decided to take my family and show them what a beautiful spot it is. We went queens bday long weekend, very busy yet still had a great time and felt like we had our own spot. The ruins walk is really good too!
