Checked it out, but did not stay. Large open free camping area. Was close to the road and would hear cars (may 6 a day). Judging by the shape of dirt mounds it has been used as a dirt bike area. 10-15km back from Newikie towards Burra is a creek that has some great camping spots (hence forth known as Flemo's Camp - named after yours truly). Off to the west of the main road and go in about 500m and you'll find some great spots. No signal, no internet, no noise and no one else. Great spot. (5 stars given for Flemo's Camp)
