Mount Monster Conservation Park

Large gravel campsites with scattered light tree cover. No toilets or water so come self sufficient, although Keith just a short drive away. Interesting history and informative walk around granite knob and bush to take in rare views of surrounds. Peaceful. Great spot to view the aurora!

Short easy road in No mud or dramas Plenty of level spots but would be hard to pitch a tent If you’ve got a camper trailer, rooftop or caravan it would be easy to stay for the night No one else round

Short road to get there from the main road, a few potholes but was so fine. Lots of spaces to camp, room for caravans and roof top tents. There is grass to camp in tents, but not lots. Lots of birds and pretty quiet. A short nature trail too. No toilets etc
