Bloody Great campsite — No bins — No water to drink (tap as Top class cooking area, clean and under cover. Gas bbq flat plates and home style open flame gas cookers. Large flat open campsites. Lack of bogans. Ranger came through in the morning to clean, gave us some good recommendations of stuff around Albany. Great toilets. And just a fleas jump away from the base of mount toolbrunup. Advice for mount Toolbrunup in July-August. Wake up at 4am, have a hot coffee. Do the climb in the dark with some good torches. BRING HIGH QUALITY WARM GLOVES!!!! You will be touching cold wet rocks and will be fricking freezing your sausage fingers on the way down!!! Apart from that bring a good waterproof jacket. The climb was significantly harder than bluff knoll but nothing if you are a fit person( if you aren’t chopped and are around 20 years old it’s a piece of cake) Some of the markers are a bit hard to find as there is no set path( many dead ends to follow to piss you off!) Just pretend you’re a mountain goat and climb the hill and don’t slip!
