This is a cool spot. There’s not many sites behind the dunes but there was at least a dozen big rig vans on the beach as well a couple of tight spots further down the track next to the creek. The beach would be amazing in good weather but we had strong onshore winds and rain for 4 days straight which made us grateful to be behind the dunes. Be aware that entry into the sites further along the camp site means deep soft sand and very little room to manoeuvre. We needed 12 max trax to get into our site. But got out with just low range.

Beautiful beach. Both 2WD and 4WD campsites have similar approaches and can be unreachable if recent rains- rutted road with some submerged parts. Picnic table with a windbreak, no facilities

Free spot that has lots of spots to pull up for the night! Find the secret rock pool that’s amazing to swim in for the day!
