A basic overnighter for me on my way back to NSW from Tassie. No firewood, luckily I had a bag in the car. Place is rorn up and is a bit muddy. The river (Major's Creek really) has wild life in the form of various waterfowl. I did not go fishing so no idea what's under the surface. Where I was I couldn't see any toilet. Plenty of filled-in cat holes though, which is pleasing since it means there's no used toilet paper blowing around the place. There was a group here, which appear to be homeless or transient - black van, big blue tent and a generator going all day and all night. Dodgy. There's better options than this dump.
