Nice clean toilet, stocked with toilet paper. Great short walk Liffey River Reserve, Bush Heritage Australia (not signposted from the campsite) where you can see a platypus among other creatures. Was fairly quite during the 'busy season. Great grassy tent sites.
Wow! Flushing toilets! Great size grassy sites with picnic table and fire pits. You even have your own stream running next to your site. What a great find!
Top Questions
Hi all! Just wondering if the fire pits are still in use at this campsite? Google says no fires, but this site says camp fires are permitted… so not quite sure whether to bring wood or not? Thanks

Top 10 campsites that allow fires near Mersey Forest, TAS
They say life is better around the campfire. And we could not agree more. Over the years due to increase fire risk it's become a challenge to find great campsites that allow you to have a fire by your tent. Please be a responsible Aircamper and brush up on your fire safety knowledge. Bushwalking NSW has a great article that'll give you the rundown on how to light a fire responsibly. Below we've collected some hidden gems near Mersey Forest, TAS that still allow you to sit back, toast your feet and incinerate some marshmallows while telling stories about camping when you were a kid.
