My partner and I stayed here for one night on a saturday night, Its a nice spot to stop for the day or for a swim but we were disappointed at how busy it got during the day, there were cars and people coming and going to swim all day long and it became packed! We struggled to find a good spot to put up our tent where we would have any privacy. There is also only toilets and bbqs on one side of the road, so keep in mind if the other side of the park is full, you need to walk across the road to use the toilet or bbq. We also couldn’t let our dogs off the leash because of the busy road next to the park which defeats the purpose of an off leash dog camping park. This spot would be nice for a day trip to swim or if you’re passing through but I wouldn’t recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful, private weekend away with your dogs.
