Lions Boulevard Park at Sandy Beach is a waterfront camping area on the south-eastern tip of Russell Island (along The Boulevard). The park is the only Council-run camping facility on Redlands Coast and includes two flat, turfed campsites. Each site can accommodate up to four people and a carpark is close by for Campervans/Caravans. Toilets, Outdoor Shower, BBQ and newly renovated undercover seating and tables are maintained by Redland City Council. A newly built "Pirate themed" playground adjacent has lots to keep the kids busy.
