We did an overnight camp over grand final long weekend. It get busy but not rowdy. Drop toilets and some fireplaces are nice with hot plates. Some camp sites you have to walk into but it makes them more beautiful, others you can park next to your site which is more convenient. The roads in are quite bumpy for a 2wd but still doable. Bring your own water.

Camping areas spread out but busy during the warmer months. Access to fun driving tracks too.

Answer:

If your coming from the Western Fwy & using Google Maps it’ll try to take you up Diggers Track. Ignore that, continue on O’Brien’s Rd until you get to the next turn off which is Upper Chadwick Track. That’ll take you to the campground and can be easily done in a 2WD. by Matt F.
