I’ve been there for the day (during week day) plenty of space and clean. I even saw a couple of deer I will definitely return to go spend the night.

Pretty campsite, last minute decision but definitely a good one. Wasn’t sure we would get a camp during school holidays but plenty of room available. Surrounded by beautiful trees, and accessible by any vehicle including caravans.

Question:

Is fire on the ground allowed?

Answer:

The rules are you should dig a 6” trench or something but nobody does. A park ranger pulled up for a chat with me when I’d just lit a fire on the ground there with my nephews. I thought I was in trouble but he was just being friendly and couldn’t care less. by Joel B.
