Small spot but good opening to the water. While the other campsite around the lake were quite busy, we were only two campers here.

Great place, was busy, but not unexpected over New years. Was dusty, but still an awesome place

Not the greatest spot. Firstly Eildon Lake has lots of trees in it, so tough for knowing what’s under the water for swimming. The entrance road into the camping grounds is extremely dusty and when all the idiots race down the road it makes it hard to see through the dust for a few seconds. Depending on the lake level will depend if you can camp close by under trees. When we went the lake was only 80% full, so to be near the water you were out in the open and the toilet is further away. The ground is fairly uneven. We only lasted a day due to there being 2 massive groups playing rap music pretty loudly. Fires are allowed. A fire marshal was doing the rounds. Dogs allowed to. Just didn’t like the unknown in the lake and the company
