First time visiting. Spent nine nights from Boxing Day. The campsite wasn’t as busy as I expected it to be. Lots of families around but they were all pretty quiet. Easily accessible in my 2WD Lots of big campsites and all had dug in fire pits. The bush toilets were clean, though some campers didn’t understand the common “rules” of leaving the lid down so sometimes the smell would waft through. Nearby river was great but can be a bit steep at places to access. There is very little is any phone reception - I had 1 bar of 4G Telstra service. I could receive email notifications but could actually load the emails. Could send sms’ out and call out. But my parents on Vodaphone couldn’t. I enjoyed my time and I’ll definitely be returning.

Large area with many in ground fire pits. Nice rock pool creek for a refreshing sit but not a swim. A couple of hikes that we didn’t do so something could be out there.

The campground was locked by a gate. Couldn’t access 22/10/23. Not sure on the reasons or when it will open up. It’s a great spacious site when it is open.

Beautiful place. Stunning river that has swimming holes. Nice maintained bush walks. 3 toilets blocks. Nice big open campsites. Short drive to some historical sites.
