Stayed overnight, found the gentleman and lady friendly were checked an hour before dark. In the morning found beautiful vistas in both directions. Had a lovely sea breeze. A lightly populated camp and nice campers, some motor homes, some tents and trailers. Thought for the size of the facility the camp kitchen and 2 en-suite toilet showers was adequate. Things looked clean enough to me but we have all our own facilities anyway. Very kind owners have been rehabilitating kangaroos for many years. They are extremely self sacrificing and kind to do this for Mother Nature. Thank you kind light workers. Worth a visit and would return.

Location is lovely, however facilities are lacking massively. We arrive at 7pm after a long day of driving, we were greeted by Gary who was unfriendly and seemed rather cross by our arrival. I booked this campsite a few days ago and was unsure on our arrival time as we had a long drive. He said, “we normally don’t check guest in after dark, I nearly gave your spot away.” He didn’t tell us where the amenities block was or tell us a check out time. I was most annoyed when I asked when I could to pay him, and he said they only take cash, which was very unhelpful as it was never mentioned prior to booking. This meant we had to take a trip back to town to an ATM, back to the site and then be on our way again. As for the toilets, there are 2 for the whole site, they are located in the kitchen. This is a massive issue when they both have showers in. I waited 15 minutes in the morning to use the toilets, because people were showing and getting ready in there. The toilets are also unclean and smelly. The kitchen is an okay size, however full of files. It being an open kitchen, next to toilets, the files flood in. Sitting area is nice outside, however it is a shame that smoking is permitted. Overall, I would not recommend this tourist park, it’s over priced considering the real lack in facilities and I would not stay here again. The one star is because of it’s convenient location.
