An sich hat der Platz alles was es braucht, ist aber eher was für Spinnenliebhaber. Die Brücke zu den Stromatoliten ist leider weiterhin kaputt

Stromatolites not able to be seen, boardwalk damaged by cyclone so access closed off. Good base for exploring the area.

Old facilities, but toilets flush, did not try showers. Bore water in use so no drinking water. Did not try showers. Camp kitchen has some cute features, but old and in desperate need of upgrade.laundry was locked. For $11 per night I have stayed in worse. The Hamelin Bay boardwalk was damaged in cyclone and out of commission. And the stomalites not clearly visible. The information centre atDenham could have told me that. Desperately needs some TLC to turn the place into a heritage site. At present things just look old and rusted.
