Came across Gumbanan when the camp at Cape Leveque was full. Couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised, amazing views from your tent and walks and beaches nearby. We were disappointed as we arrived after sunset, it would have been a perfect place to spend more time. Toilets and showers - the earlier the warmer - and fee collectors come by for camp fees. Gets relatively busy in peak season.

A great bush camp. Terrific views, flushing toilets and showers. Can cool off at a small beach called Squeaky Beach. Amazing indigenous fish trap below the cliff.
