We visited Flanagan Reserve for the first time in about 6 years over the recent long weekend… and we won’t be going back in a hurry. Unfortunately the reserve has turned into a dirt patch, with very... Read more

Beautiful and very large campsite and evenly dispersed so didn’t feel overcrowded even during school holidays. Great location for first time solo camping. Loved my tent view of Mt Barney

Great place to take the kids, lots of wildlife and is right on the Logan river so kids can swim, water is ice cold. Further up stream is creek and rock pools but the water pumps through there so supervision for the little ones is a must. They have lots of firewood ($15 a wheelbarrow) and ice that you can purchase in the office also lots of fire pits around for everyone. Hot water showers (20c for 60sec) water runs as soon as you drop your coins in so make sure your ready to go and toilets. They leave a trailer out by the office for rubbish you just bag it up and drop it off. Only downfall is that it’s mostly dirt, you can get a grassy spots but you would be away from the river. It is quite a big site so lots of room for activity’s, games and for kids to ride. Pet friendly also
