Incredible place gets busy during public and school holidays but we’re doesn’t one downside is possum poop You bet your car and tent roof so pack a tarpaulin lots of wildlife lace monitors /lyrebird/ red quolls /possums/eastern water dragons /beaded dragon’s lizards/suger gliders swamp wallabies and rock wallabies the water is beautiful for swimming kayaking boats allowed only 5 horsepower cliff jumping fishing for eel tailed catfish/yellowbelly/cod river black fish /carp incredible bushwalking’ tracks easy and hard lots of indigenous paintings and sacred sites please don’t touch them as they are irreplaceable and national treasures for us all long drop toilets throughout free firewood supplied by npws this place is something quite special for us all to enjoy and help preserve take all rubbish back home with u if u c some rubbish laying around please just pick it up u will get good Carma and make it just that much more special for future generations

I will add that while it’s ok for 2wd the dirt road is very rough in parts. It’s worth it though. Best swimming area for miles around. by Ashda K.
