This Roadhouse campsite has clearly seen better days. The cafeteria area looked basic and with few options. None of the campground toilets had any handwash, and one had no toilet paper. When I mentioned this at the counter the guy gave me a roll and said he would come over later with a key to fit the roll properly into the dispenser. A few hours later the roll was still lying where I left it. The pool was empty and clearly had been for some time. For such a poorly maintained site the $19 overnight for an unpowered site was definitely over priced. Clearly the better option would have been to drive a short way on to the Daly Waters Caravan Park, the location having a lot more of interest including the famous and still popular Daly Waters Pub.

Great place to stop overnight- famous for their vanilla slices & home made meat pies! Helpful happy staff! At $29 for power and water hook up bargain!

Great welcome from owner. Unpowered spot $9 per person per night. Peace and quiet. Facilities currently being updated. One dhower block going for the rustic look as still awaiting work. Swimming pool nice and shaded. Pub happy hour. Vanilla slices to due for. Great spot to stay.

Such a little gem! We had a lovely meal here and my 5yo stated it was the best chicken schnitzel he has ever had! Scotch fillet was unreal! Lovely people and campground, although basic it was green and clean! Owner and staff really make this place...and the vanilla slice!
