Maria is our go to location for camping! I honestly cannot fault it. Hikes, beach, history and old buildings to explore, plenty of places to discover. Toilet area is super clean. Community cooking are... Read more

Great place to stay, $6.50 per adult per night. Lots of spots amongst the trees to put your tent. Gas bbqs, gas burners for kettles/pots, food lockers and tables in the kitchen area. Drinking water, washing up area with sink, flushing toilets with paper and showers (currently closed). Lots of wildlife about and close to the beach.

The area is super nice with lots of wildlife around. The kitchen is basic but clean. There are water boliers and bbqs to use. The toilets were clean and drinkable water was provided.

The place can get quite loud because of all the other tourists (most of them were families). Big field with a hard ground, which made it quite hard to get the tent pegs into the ground. I liked that there were a lot of animals on the campsite (wombats, geese and wallabys). Since there was a drought, the showers were closed during our stay.
