Buckle your self in I’m about to give you the run down. Went to dandos in at the end of 2020, it rained the entire time, which of course it did it’s a rainforest however we were dumb 19 year olds so we did not think this through. the closest town was Colac which we do not discuss as we were gassed at the lapochetta and went to the woolies more times than u can count. The campsite it self was fantastic right in the middle of the Forrest with stunning trees however it was stormy when we stayed so I was a little concerned they were going to fall on my head. The road there is a little bumpy and dirt for the 20 mins leading to it but we did it in a Toyota echo so you will be fine. The facilities were very clean and nice. Most of the people there were lovely. One man lent us an axe and gave us wood because we forgot a stove. There was a cute family who chased the baby ducks. There was a group of 20 year olds who played death metal music at 3am and there was this chill chick who hung out with us when we were at the site. This overall was a good place to stay (just be warned the river had peaches which was rank) but yeah overall I’d give it a 4 out of 5 just because there isn’t a whole lot of privacy with how open it is but apart from that It was great
