Suitable for tents, RVs etc. Limited shade - if possible camp underneath the trees. Completely free, no rubbish bins so take everything with you. Campfire spots are available. No running water and drop toilet. Lots of wildlife, kookaburras, magpies and lots of kangaroos around. When driving through the forest to the campsite be extra careful of kangaroos and wombats crossing the roads, especially at night and early morning.

We visited in summer and there is no shelter from the heat as the trees are all pine. But it’s a good spot if you just need to take a break on a long road trip. There were many birds singing the whole day, kangaroos came by at dusk and the frogs and cicadas croaked all night. So if you love the sounds of nature, this place is lovely. The little town of Berrima is close by for a coffee and some great pies. We visited the week before Christmas and New Years and it was almost empty.

Location is pretty and the campground is large and spacious. It is not peaceful at all on weekends with a plethora of dirt bikers revving past. Made it a bit concerning when going for a walk.
