Arrived mid afternoon mid week plenty of good areas to choose from without encroaching on other campers. Choose from shade or open, slabs or paddock almost all good level areas. No amenities at all, no bins except for cans and refund items. Did not see any rubbish, good on everyone for doing the right thing. Fires, pets gens all ok, no firewood evident so byo. My Telstra was ok but only just, wasn’t parked in trees but could be sketchy. All wildlife respectful though the cattle and horses were not housetrained. The mine was easily accessible and worth visiting. Track leading north from mine turnoff was good scenery, spots to camp at river and creeks, still water in places. Went about 20 klms, other small pits out there, not sure where track went to but in very good condition. This is a top location and being used correctly. Accommodating big numbers of travellers easily.
