We arrived late at night there was ample room to set up at night without disturbing others , long drop toilets are ever nice but did the job , close enough to the highway to stop for a quick sleep the drive in was scary and daunting at night but woke up and was beautiful ?

Very nice dog friendly free camp. The setting is great among the trees with very large flat grass area, picnic tables and clean long drop toilets. Dirt road in suitable for all vehicles and rigs. Thanks forestry NSW.

Question:

Are we able to stay more than one night passing through?

Answer:

Hey Jacqui, Camping in State Forests is generally limited to a maximum of four weeks. Visitors should be aware of and adhere to any signage at camping sites which may define shorter periods of stay and must comply with all directions given by authorised officers during their stay. Cheers Leah by NSW S.

Answer:

As we are new to camping do we need permits? by Jacqui B.

Answer:

No limit but a few locals have moved in. It’s temporarily closed due to logging. Love this spot as it’s very close to the highway but very secluded by Richard V.

Question:

Hi 😊 Was just wondering if you need to book to stay here (allocated sites) or if you just turn up and go whenever you like? (First in best dressed). Thank you 😊

Answer:

Hey David, all State Forest camp sites are free of charge and for that reason there are no bookings for sites. They are simply run on the basis 'first in, first served'. It is also for this reason, that Forestry Corporation don't have allocated sites. by Mike W.

Answer:

Ok no worries. Thank you Mike. Very new to the camping thing so just wanted to be sure. Cheers. by David M.
