A great part of the world to camp. The wildlife will walk right up to your tent, and may come in if left open. Great for swimming, fishing or just relaxing

With heaps of space and many secluded camp spots, you can find yourself a quiet campsite with beautiful wildlife all year round. Accessible by 2wd cars, this gives any camper an opportunity to experience Coolendael. The unsealed road is groomed regularly but do take care on the corners as some can be blind or quite tight. Don’t forget to bring your towel and kayak because the river is definitely something everyone should explore but don’t worry if you forget your kayak as they rent canoes on site. Definitely a place I can call my happy place!!
