Peaceful spot midweek along the Macquarie River. Plenty of other vans here with space to spread out. Watch the noisy corella flocks race up and down the River, the cows and birds nesting in the tree... Read more

Lovely place, quite loud in the morning cause thousands of cockatoos decide at the same time to wake up and sing. It has a long drop toilet and it’s far from the highway. Came here after heavy rain... Read more

Lovely spot beside the river. There are more spots higher up but next to the river was best. There is a long drop on site which was clean

Question:

Don't try and go here, well out of the way to find out, the entrance way you definitely need 4wd and cannot pull a caravan in there. There was also a burnt out car blocking the entrance entirely. Massive waste of time to go down this outbackish Rd to find one of the most inhospitable, off-putting entrances to a campsite I've ever seen. ?
