Awesome we camp ground, had the whole place to myself. Was clean and tidy. Had a talk with the ranger and he said the 4 site rule was dreamed up by someone in a office and he didnt inforce it. He said they’ve had up to 40 people on the site before so don’t get put off if a few people are already staying there.

This is a lovely and really quiet basic campsite. There were only three of us here when I visited. Lovely trees and the most rising up out of the valley was lovely. The toilets are a little walk away so may be tough if you need to use them in the middle of the night. One little warning: the ‘grass’ is almost entirely thistles and three cornered jacks so make sure you have seats. I really enjoyed this spot.
