Stayed one night. Very safe. $15 per person for unpowered sight. Amenities are old and need and update. Not sure if we parked on an ant hill but we were bombarded with tiny biting ants.

Stayed overnight in June 24 in van. Very safe, clean & abit of grass & shade. $40 for a powered site with water. Super cold drinks in the pub with a good quality generous meal. This is in a remote area so it isn’t expensive. Dogs are welcome.

Question:

I am not a camper an person but my suv is set up with a awning tent, kitchen en-suite tent and ports loo. Do you allow for this type of road tripper. Grey nomad going around Aussie ?

Answer:

Have you ever been to a caravan park that doesn’t allow that? by Dan C.

Answer:

I did a trip around Qld in October. Several caravan parks signposted as Rv’s, caravans, and camper vans only. Strictly no tent camping. Julia Creek, Charters Towers, Cloncurry, to name a few. by Grenville H.

Answer:

I highly doubt that by Dan C.

Answer:

Then go there and check the signage. by Grenville H.

Answer:

You are insinuating that I am not telling the truth. by Grenville H.

Answer:

I check the Julia Creek caravan park website and it says on grass Motorhome and camping sites. Iam not meaning to insinuate anything but I have done several laps of the country with a tent before kids and camper trailer with kids and have never seen a caravan park not allowing camping by Dan C.
