Nicely maintained site with a good view, shelter, fireplaces and toilet. Unfortunately for us a group of campers had already settled in. There were spare spaces on a terraced area but all quite close together so difficult to get away from others. We moved into the forest and found a clear site about 500m away on the ridge in the picnic area / fire track that was more private and fine for an overnight stay. If you want to stay here is suggest that you Arrive early to claim the spot or be happy to share with others close by. Dogs allowed. State forest with tall trees and recent signs of logging history unfortunately, but lovely nonetheless.
