Good shower. Ok site.
Great place, well maintained. Close to the beach (nice one) with the view of the lighthouse. Overall, pleasant experience.
Pros - decent location, short drive from town - kitchen facilities and fridge space (more freezer space would be good though) - really nice staff - happy summer vibe (we were there early Jan) Cons - the grossest bathroom flooring I’ve come across maybe ever - unisex bathrooms (no disrespect to the menfolk but let’s be real, your bathrooms always stink of urine...hence all bathrooms/showers here stink of urine) - people doing coke till 3am (nb: the drugs weren’t the issue; just the inane chat late into the night) - a few permanent resident sorts who’d built a tent city (seemed like nice enough people, it’s just not what I want from a holiday park) All in all a good stay though - Byron is always fun and some great waves around - I’d go back but would take flip flops for the showers.
A great campsite with very clean facilities including toilet, shower, kitchen and swimming pool. A great feature is the beach access from the campsite. Nights and mornings are very noisy and unfortunately the waiting time at the reception is very long.
Stayed here just aftwr New Year, the park has been full but not noisy at all. It is very well managed, facilities modern and clean. Feels spacious. 5 minutes walk to the beach, beach is pet friendly a... Read more
