We stopped overnight but can stay maximum 20hrs, toilets were clean but a bit old, has showers but didn’t use these. Plenty of room with some slab sites available, didn’t hear much road noise. coffee and donut van there Monday to Saturday 7am to 1pm. Nice walk down to the river. Would recommend this free camp.
We thought this was pretty nice has every you need for a night stop over! Has a nice view for the creek and some cool art work to admire at the farm next to it and a coffee van that arrives every morning except Sunday and you can pay the cows while they have their morning feed in the mornings too!!
Nice little rest area. Toilets are adequate (I’d take baby wipes) Showers are cold but decent ‘Dumpezy’ on site for campers Decent sleep, some trucks passing on the road, I’d recommend getting as far away as possible. Concrete pads for campers and gorgeous coffee/donut truck pulled up in the morning. Also good fishing (I heard from locals)
Do not stay here! The toilets are beyond Belief and people are still using them! It Is hard to think that you are in Australia seeing this - it is also a health hazard! I feel for the poor workers who have to deal with this mess! The new toilets in construction are not much different to when we came through in April! Why? Is it because of a small struggling council trying to provide facilities for freebie travellers or just slack? There were in excess of 70 vehicles in this site at least half were rigs longer than 25' With so many people travelling with their own postcode worth $$$$$$ who then bully anyone who wants to park within four campsites of them you wonder. I know they are self contained but maybe if we all had to pay something it might help improve the facilities! The noise from the road is serious!
