What a beautiful place to stay close to town. We did hear a couple of trains through the night but it didn’t bother us. Lake walk was short but very pleasant with seating around it in a few places so one could sit down for a rest if needed. I would stay there again next time I passed through Border town

Great free place with flushing toilet and tiny walking track. However there's no camping signs so we didn't feel Comfortable in our roof top tent. We went to the next closest free one.
