Exceptional part of the world. This rainforest should be protected at all costs. Campgrounds are very well laid out with 4 grounds to pick from, all featuring multiple sites. Campgrounds 1-3 are situated by Booloumba creek, which features crystal clear waters and a great swimming hole. Most suitable for tent camping as you cannot have your car directly by the campsite. Campground 4 is in a big clearing and is best for those wanting to camp next to their car or in a caravan/rooftop tent. There are a couple creek crossings to get in, so it is high clearance access only, however you don't need a 4wd. Those in Foresters or Tributes will be fine provided it isn't after heavy rain. Visit outside of school holidays.
