Beautiful spot to stay! Lovely and clean, bins and picnic table available. Big wide open space. Must be self contained.

Tip notch site only a few minutes from town, the best sites are near the river where the shade is best. A huge open area provides the space needed for large groups and the wier itself is very refreshing after a long day on the road. Pets are welcome and the boat ramp is the most pedestrian friendly access for a swim. I was there for a night only but was treated with wonderful thunderstorms and a great lightshow. Lack of toilet facilities is dissapointing but Peak Hill is not far away. Overall, a great site if you want a quick stopover on your run along the Newell Hwy
