Good sized sites and plenty of space. Amenities were too hot to use in the afternoon. Bar is OK, air con struggling while we were there. Pool is a welcome relief, although needs to be cleaned Only real option given distance from everything. And minimise fuel purchase as most expensive on the whole trip between NT and East Coast.
We stayed at the Barkly Homestead in late May 2021 on our around Australia caravan holiday and the Barkly Homestead is on the bottom of our list of preferred accommodation, The Barkly Homestead should present itself as an oasis in the outback, however ended up the stay from hell, bad untreated sewage smell, overpriced amenities, fuel and food.
