The caravan park and camping in Arkaroola was in a great location and had a lovely view but it’s the only choice if you want to be in the village. It was $25 for an Unpowered site for one night (we only had a swag and feel this was extremely expensive for what we got). Amenities block was old and smelly and not particularly clean. It was woeful. Showers were inconsistently hot or cold and the toilets ran out of toilet paper (ALL OF THEM). Smell of sewerage throughout the camp. Reception was helpful with activities to do in Arkaroola and there are lots of 4wd and hiking tours and self tours if this is something you are interested in.
