Nice spot but too many people know about this place now.

Beautiful place. Had 3 other campers in the area on a Monday night but very spaced out. Saw wallabies, rabbits, and birds. Drop toilet was almost full. Had bins and a tap... not sure if drinkable.

Fantastic little spot for a quick little get away. 1 1/2 hours from Canberra. Drop toilets are basic but clean.

Lots of green grass for the dog. Plenty of kangaroos and king parrots, with the odd bunny running bye. A few sitings of black snakes and hunters shooting on the surrounding hills at night. The locals... Read more

Is it easy access with a caravan? Which is the best way to get there?

Answer:

Araluen rd from Braidwood. The brakes will get a good workout going down into the valley and it’s a steep climb back to the top back to Braidwood. The road to Moruya is not suitable for trailers. by bbayjohns
